Rebrand
Space is an independent fashion and photography magazine exploring the relationship between clothing, movement, and the space surrounding both. This season’s features center on Issey Miyake and drapery and its uses. The first using restrained typography and shifting fields of negative space to reflect his sculptural approach to form. The latter using flowing type and moments of visual density meant to replicate sheer.
AFAR is a magazine dedicated to meaningful exploration and place-based narratives. This rebrand reimagines the publication through a restrained editorial system that emphasizes typography, hierarchy, and negative space. The design balances contemporary typographic expression with a timeless magazine structure, positioning AFAR as both a modern travel publication and a thoughtful cultural artifact. The repetition of letters in the masthead is an abstraction of the blurring that occurs when seeing something from afar.
